9-week Art Clinic with J. Jordan Bruns
It is common for artists using photography as their reference to paint too realistically or too tightly, causing their paintings to resemble photographs. What happens when the artist uses one or more photographs as inspiration to create an abstract painting? In this session of ‘Abstract Representation,’ we will explore just that. We will delve into the possibilities of eschewing naturalistic colors, altering the perspective of our subject matter, and incorporating a fusion of abstract and representational elements into our artwork. This Art Clinic offers valuable insights for both abstract and representational artists alike.
This is an intermediate to advanced level Art Clinic.
