General Course Description

The Just Getting Started Art Clinic is here to prepare future artists with a strong foundation of drawing and painting skills.  These Art Clinics lean heavily on drawing-based skills as drawing is the foundation of not only painting, but all visual art.  Here you’ll find skills in learning to see, understanding composition, and color theory.  Skills learned in the Just Getting Started Art Clinic will come in handy for all sequential Art Clinics as well as any medium you want to pursue thereafter.
