General Course Description

Abstract Representation is designed for artists with traditional backgrounds to think abstractly in their work. This class pushes your understanding of composition design, color relationships, and eye movement and promotes using your artistic license.  This is an ideal class for artists who want to take their work to a new level.

COMMING SPRING 2023

Abstract Representation: Composition

Fridays, April 21 – June 9, 1:30 – 4:00pm

In this Art Clinic we’ll  break down representational and abstract compositions and finds the comon bonds between them.  We’ll disect old master paintings to see why their paintings are masterpieces while my “digitally edited forgeries” of those paintings fall flat.  This class is great for painters who have goals in mind regarding what or how they want to paint but need advice on how to achieve their objectives.
