Just Add Water Art Clinic
Beginner to Advanced
Wednesdays 10:00 – 12:30pm
“Just Add Water” is a series of art clinics designed around a theme. If the name doesn’t give it away, we’re adding water to water-based medium to create incredible works of art. While each clinic explores a different media in a four-week burst, artists will find that what they learn in one clinic will be enhanced by other clinics in the series.
Printing Without a Press

Wednesdays 1:30 – 4:00pm
Love printmaking but don’t have a 500lb press? Gelatin plates produce beautiful and unique mono-printed materials than can be done anywhere. This printmaking technique unleashes creativity, invites artistic experimentation, and broadens understanding of color, value and design in artmaking. Best of all, no prior knowledge of drawing or painting is required, and all levels can enjoy the process from the start! Each session builds upon student skills from prior sessions, and all can be taken sequentially or in any order.
Applied Anatomy Art Clinic
Intermediate to Advanced
Thursdays 10:00 – 12:30pm
Do you need to know every bone? No. Muscle? No. Join the “Applied Anatomy Art Clinic” and we’ll sift through what is important and what’s deadweight. These clinics use easy-to-understand instruction to complement our time working from the model. While each clinic explores a different part of the human body in a four-week burst, artists will find that what they learn in one clinic will be enhanced by other clinics in the series. Please note there is an additional $40 model fee paid in class.

We’ve all got some work that has better days ahead and “The Fine Art Rework Clinic” is your one stop shop to fix your down and out art. Each clinic in this series focuses on a different aspect of art making. You’ll learn techniques that will not only fix mediocre art, but also help you make more educated decisions when starting new pieces. While each clinic explores a different concept in a four-week burst, artists will find that what they learn in one clinic will be enhanced by other clinics in the series

Abstract Representation
Intermediate to Advanced
Fridays 1:30 – 4:00pm
Abstract Representation is designed for artists with traditional backgrounds to think abstractly in their work. This class pushes your understanding of composition design, color relationships, and eye movement and promotes using your artistic license. This is an ideal class for artists who want to take their work to a new level.
Alla Prima Art Clinic
Intermediate to Advanced
Thursdays 1:30 – 4:00pm
This “alla prima” (at first attempt) painting Art Clinic really gets to the heart of what representational painting really is, pieces of color on a canvas. Yet when the color is accurately mixed and placed next to other accurate pieces of color, the paint vibrates and tricks the eye into believing the marks are more than just paint. This workshop stresses application paint and color mixing to get an accurate painting the first time. An excellent Art Clinic for those who need practice mixing and “seeing color”.
