Spring 2024 – Experimental Drawing: Linework

By April 10, 2018October 12th, 2023No Comments

Fridays, April 19 – May 17, 2024, 10:00 – 12:30pm

with J. Jordan Bruns

A line is a dot that went for a walk.  There are all kinds of ways to make line in drawing.  The drawing tool is only half of the equation.  In this Experimental Drawing Art Clinic, we’ll be experimenting with how a tool makes a certain line, but also how WE can change that line. Further, we’ll dive into the important distinction between line and edge; how they make our subject abstract or representational and when to use each while making a drawing.  Our in-class work will be split between still life and the live model.  Please note there is a $30 model fee paid in class.
