The Stone Tower Studio and Gallery at Glen Echo Park houses resident artists who bridge representational and abstract approaches to artmaking. The gallery showcases work in both traditional and nontraditional methods using a variety of media. Through instruction, artists champion experimentation and innovation in the artmaking process and promote these concepts through the “Art Clinic” program.
Art Clinic, at the Stone Tower Studio, provides dynamic instruction on various art topics and techniques. Students are encouraged to experience the joy of experimentation, while resident artist instructors offer them guidance to develop their unique style. The curriculum of the Art Clinic allows participants to join sessions sequentially to build skills and specialization, or as they need to complement existing knowledge.
